Helen Johnson

Helen Johnson graduated from Vassar College in 2021 with a bachelor’s degree in Political Science, Hispanic Studies, and Music Performance. Helen spent her time as a student studying the various ways in which the laws of the United States work against immigrants and people of color, which led her to become interested in immigration law and criminal defense. She lived abroad in both Nicaragua and Chile, where she learned Spanish and developed an understanding of the barriers faced by people fleeing poverty, violence, and political unrest. These experiences deepened her interest in assisting immigrants and asylum seekers in the United States.
