Jenny Brooks

Assistant Jenny Brooks graduated from Macalester College in 2016. With a degree in International Studies, and a history of travel in Europe, Asia, and Africa, she has a wide understanding of global issues affecting our clients and their lives. Similarly, her study of gender and sexuality-based issues makes Jenny a valuable asset for Aust Schmiechen’s LGBT clients.

Jenny is also fluent in Spanish. She spent five months living abroad in Spain, has volunteered as a translator for Advocates for Human Rights, and has taught English classes to immigrant adults at CLUES (Comunidades Latinas Unidas en Servicio) in Minneapolis.
